Beam Homogenizers

SUSS MicroOptics' flys eye condensers: perfect flat top energy distribution

Microlens-based beam homogenizers perfectly decouple the incoming spatial beam distribution (light source) from the output. Thus, depending on the specific source, it is possible to efficiently reshape light, for example, into a so called “flat-top” illumination profile with excellent uniformity and efficiency, or a two dimensional array of points.

SUSS MicroOptics’ linear arrays are typically used to homogenize a variety of emitters from Excimer lasers to high power LEDs for applications in lithography, laser micro-manufacturing, and life sciences and optical metrology.
